Dr elisheva vissel
Dr Vissel studied medicine and science at The University of New South Wales after finishing a Bachelor of Arts with honours in the United States. She went on to complete her physician training and specialist neurologist training at busy tertiary hospitals in NSW. She completed a subspecialty fellowship in neurophsyiology at The Prince of Wales Hospital. She lectures at The University of New South Wales and The University of Notre Dame and is engaged in research in cognitive neurology.
Clinical Expertise
Dr Vissel is a clinical neurologist and neurophysiologist consulting in areas across general neurology, including cognitive disorders, headache, neuropathies and pain. She has a special interest in preventive neurology and in cognitive disorders, with additional expertise in neurophysiology. She has university appointments and is engaged in medical education and research.
