For New Patients:

• Bring a valid referral (GP referrals: 12 months, Specialist referrals: 3 months) to claim a Medicare rebate.
• Appointments last 60 minutes, and reports are sent to your referring doctor on the same day.

For Existing Patients:

• Ensure your referral is valid to receive a Medicare rebate (GP: 12 months, Specialist: 3 months).

For Nerve Conduction Studies:

• Wear loose clothing and avoid creams or emollients on your skin.
• The test takes an allowed amount of 60 minutes.
• Performed by an Associate Professor, Mark Hersch

During your initial visit, the neurologist will discuss your symptoms and medical history, perform a physical and neurological exam to assess coordination, reflexes, sensations, and muscle strength, and may recommend further specialized testing for an accurate diagnosis

Symptoms such as forgetfulness, memory issues, loss of consciousness, seizures, numbness, tingling sensations, tremors, muscle weakness, and changes in taste, smell, or vision may lead your physician to refer you to a neurologist.
